| I started capturing wildlife and landscapes on film over twenty years ago in Kenya where I lived near a remote village close to the Uganda border.
I now live in a small cottage in the New Forest and continue to use my skills to record the magic of this ancient mix of woodland and heath, created in 1079 by William the Conqueror as a hunting area. With its wealth of animal and plant life, which coexist with the Commoner’s ponies, pigs and cattle, it affords endless opportunities for the photographer. If you want to bring the Forest to your home, these images are available in many sizes at very reasonable prices; see the enquiries page.
Photography is generally combined with dog walking! It can sometimes prove very awkward controlling three dogs in close proximity to deer and still getting good images!
If you want to view my full range of products, particularly the handmade and highly sought after calendars, I can generally be found in the Lyndhurst Community Centre on Sundays.
My photographs are now digital. However, I like to stress that the images are not manipulated. What you see is what I saw through the lens!
The large gallery images you will see on this site are watermarked for anti-copying purposes. Naturally, prints purchased do not have this watermark.
Every year I select twelve of my best shots for a calendar. Each calendar is hand assembled in my studio and every page is personally signed. Because each page of the calendar is, in fact, a photograph, it can be trimmed and framed offering very good value for money.
Some people/companies ask me to create bespoke calendars with a theme that suits their own needs. A good example is a recent project for the Bishop of Kavala (Greece), the front page of which can be seen below.
If you or your company are interested in this product, I would be delighted to discuss it with you.
